What is this LG 4K OLED CS TV?
The LG OLEDCS television takes up some characteristics of the C1 and C2 range televisions, released in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Although this series has the components of the C2 models, without the OLED Evo, its panel displays a much higher brightness than the C1 televisions. Colorimetry and contrasts are more intense than on a conventional screen. Blacks, as well as color hues, are accurate. The image is generally excellent, apart from a sometimes somewhat low brightness on certain content.
The LG CS is compatible with HDR, HDR10 and Dolby Vision IQ standards. The image quality is, in theory, as close to a cinema experience as possible, especially if you have a fiber connection to enjoy 4K via SVOD platforms. The processor present in CS televisions has the technology of upscaling, which allows to increase the number of pixels present in the video in order to broadcast 1080p content in 4K.
Is this LG TV a good deal?
It’s a bargain under $1,000. Video game players are not left out. The OLED CS has multiple HDMI 2.1 ports and offers a variable refresh rate of 120Hz, coupled with a response time of just 1ms. It is also compatible with VRR, ALLM, G-Sync and FreeSync. So you can enjoy your next-gen console without experiencing lag or screen tearing.
Audio level, the three speakers deliver 40 W of power and the CS is Dolby Atmos compatible. The audio is fine, but a decent soundbar or sound setup will do better justice to this excellent TV. Finally, the WebOS 22 interface dresses up the CS and allows you to easily navigate the menus with fluidity.
