Developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Entertainment, D-Day is finally approaching for A Plague Tale: Requiem. From this Tuesday, October 18, about three and a half years after the release of the excellent A Plague Tale: Innocencethis episode will allow players from all over the world to discover the rest of the adventures of Amicia and Hugo De Rune on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and in cloud version on Nintendo Switch.
Like its predecessor, this opus offers an action-adventure oriented experience. Even if its level design is more open than in the past in order to give us the opportunity to vary our approach more in the event that we have to cross an area full of enemies, the progression therefore remains linear, which does not prevent it not for all that to embed a small additional content.
What is the lifespan of A Plague Tale: Requiem?
During your journey, in addition to following a story without secondary objectives, you will have the opportunity to do some exploration in order to recover collectibles, namely flowers and feathers from Hugo’s herbarium. as well as the memorable memories of the journey that awaits the duo. Now the question is: how long does it take to achieve your goals?
- main story : about 3 p.m.
- 100% : between 6 and 9 p.m.
As always, let’s remember that this lifespan is a simple, totally subjective estimate which will vary in particular according to the way you play, the difficulty mode chosen and whether you use classic or immersive HUD (an option already present in Innocence).
Also note that the time needed for 100% is not necessarily the same as the time it takes to get Platinum. If we rely on the list of title trophies, it does not seem impossible to obtain it during a first run even if some successes will prove more difficult to acquire than others. In which case, you may need to resort to New Game +.
