Lili Reinhart: "Like a prisoner" she shoots for "Riverdale"

"Riverdale" star Lili Reinhart uses a drastic comparison to work on the set of the series: she feels "like a prisoner".

Lili Reinhart (23) has been in front of the camera for the series "Riverdale" since 2016 – come what may? In an interview with the US lifestyle magazine "Nylon", the actress said that the conditions of the job were "just bad" recently. At the beginning of August, in the midst of the corona pandemic, she was ordered to Vancouver, Canada, to shoot the last three episodes of the fourth season.

"I almost feel like a prisoner," said Reinhart. A stay in Canada means for her that she will not be able to leave the country again anytime soon. "It's not a good feeling not being able to go home on Thanksgiving to visit the family." In return, she could not receive any visitors without them having been quarantined for two weeks.

The actress has made a decision

Reinhart said she felt "very lost", "sad" and "hopeless" at the beginning of the pandemic. The actress has been struggling with depression since she was twelve. She takes part in therapy sessions via WhatsApp, following the decision to "take the hard way". The 23-year-old does not want to distract herself with drugs and alcohol, but rather consciously get through "the next few months full of crap". Even if that means crying every day.
