In the capital and the surrounding area, these dramatic accidents are unfortunately not uncommon. In recent months, a 24-year-old young woman, a 2-year-old child and a 30-year-old man have died when hit by trucks.
Tuesday evening, around 7 p.m., it was in Lille, in the North, that a tragic event of this type occurred, rue Saint-Amand. There, a young underage man riding a bicycle was hit by a heavy truck.
His two-wheeler ended up under the wheels and he under the truck. Despite the rapid intervention of witnesses and help, he could not be saved. His death was pronounced on the spot.
