Lille-PSG (1-5): Paris feasts in the North

PSG won in Lille (1-5) on Sunday, closing the 23rd day of Ligue 1. Leaders, the Parisians are 13 points ahead of OM, the new runner-up.

Eliminated from the Coupe de France by Nice (0-0, 6-5 on pens), a few days earlier, the capital club recovered perfectly nine days before the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League against Real Madrid. In this C1 poster against Lille also qualified for the eighth, it was the Parisians who were at the level.

The Parisians flew over this shock, also helped by two big blunders from Lille goalkeeper Ivo Grbic, which led to goals from Danilo (10th) and Presnel Kimpembe (32nd).

And if the Mastiffs equalized thanks to Sven Botman (28th), at the end of a superb job by Hatem Ben Arfa, the illusion of a restarted match only lasted a handful of minutes. Lionel Messi (38th) killed the suspense before half-time, before Danilo (51st) and Kylian Mbappé, with a superb curling shot (67th), completed the biggest Parisian victory of the season.

While Neymar should return to competition on Friday, PSG seem to be gaining momentum before one of the most important meetings of their season.
