Lindsay’s suicide: “Nothing will stop them”, this heartbreaking letter written by the young girl months ago

Several months before taking action, Lindsay had written a goodbye letter to her parents. In it, unveiled this Thursday, June 1, the teenager spoke of the school harassment of which she was the victim.

It was a real tragedy that happened on May 12th. Lindsay, a teenager aged only 13, ended her life following school bullying of which she was the victim. Since the start of the school year in September, Lindsay has multiplied the calls for help but she has never been listened to. Last February, it was Fabrice, her stepfather, who found a letter written by the teenager, in which she explained her intention to end her life. This was unveiled on Thursday, June 1. “Dear parents, if you are reading this letter, it means that I have surely left“, she begins before continuing: “I’m sorry to have done that but I couldn’t stand the insults morning and evening, the mockery, the threats. I can’t take it anymore and I want to end itShattered by the harassment, Lindsay goes on to elaborate, “Nothing will stop them because despite everything that has happened, they will always want me badly. I’m sorry mom, I left to join dad“, she writes, referring to her dad, who died when she was only three years old. His suicide, the teenager hopes that he will have”used for something. I think what I’ve done will make them happy. They’ll think they’ve won and stop it all“, she said then. Very moving words.

Lindsay’s parents claimed they were left abandoned. In her letter, the teenager denounced the inaction of the director of her college, despite numerous complaints. “I couldn’t even confide in the director because he didn’t want to hear anything. The only thing I could do is leave“, she wrote. To end her letter, Lindsay asks her parents to take care of Maïlys, her best friend. The latter is also the victim of bullying at school. “Pay attention to Maïlys and what could happen to her. Take care“, she continued before adding: “I love you, goodbye“. Heartbreaking words since they highlight the ordeal that the teenager lived on a daily basis. According to Me Pierre Debuisson, the lawyer for her family, these are four complaints which have been filed against the Academy, the management of the establishment and the police, as well as against Facebook France, which owns Instagram. An investigation was opened and four minors were indicted for “school bullying leading to suicide“and an adult person has been indicted for”death threats“.

Lindsay’s suicide: “It was premeditated”

Betty and Fabrice, Lindsay’s parents, came to testify on the Cyril Hanouna set on May 29. Both made heartbreaking remarks, first explaining that Lindsay’s suicide was premeditated. “Even we don’t understand“, continued Betty, her mother, before adding: “She had a smile… Her comrades said they had never had her as smiling as the day she died“For the parents of the teenager, the situation is untenable.”She was really in distress, no one helped her“, they lamented on the antenna of BFMTV during a press conference this Thursday, June 1. “I’m sure if we had been supported, my daughter would still be alive, I’m sure“, specified Betty. A drama which, according to her words, could have been avoided.
