Lion’s Den – A lawyer from Wels inspires lion investors

They fought like lions and then made loot on the TV show “Lion’s Cave”: Wels lawyer Michael Lanzinger and his fellow campaigners were able to fetch 100,000 euros. And with a topic that may be very dry for many and, not surprisingly, has to do with law.

“We want to fight against hatred on the internet,” says Wels lawyer Michael Lanzinger. And that’s why he developed “Netzbeweis” together with Kathrin Bisset, Philipp Omenitsch and Thomas Schreiber. This is how it works. This allows you to take screenshots that can also be recognized and used in court. “Previously, screenshots were always in JPG image format and had to be converted. In addition, there is no time stamp,” explains Lanzinger. It’s different with Netzbeweis: If you discover hate mail on the Internet, you enter the URL of the page in question at netzbeweis.com and you get a court-ready screenshot. And the idea seems to be popular. Because the team ventured into the “Lion’s Den” and was also successful on the RTL show. There you could convince two investors, got 90,000 euros for 15 percent of the company. Former Formula 1 star Nico Rosberg was enthusiastic and donated 10,000 euros.
