The second men’s slalom in Garmisch culminates in a Swiss fiasco. Loïc Meillard and Ramon Zenhäusler are eliminated after a double lead, debutant Fadri Janutin is the only Swiss Ski athlete to score. Henrik Kristoffersen wins for the second time in 24 hours.

(sda) The starting position of the Swiss could hardly have been more promising. Loïc Meillard led after the first run by half a second. Ramon Zenhäusler was together with the Austrian Johannes Strolz Meillard’s first pursuer. Tanguy Nef, after his best time the day before, started the attack from 11th position, together with his teammate Daniel Yule.
