US actress Liz Sheridan died at her home in New York on Friday at the age of 93. This is reported, among other things, by the TV station CNN on his news portal, citing her manager Amanda Hendon. Cult series “Alf” made Liz Sheridan famous in the 80s

Sheridan became known in Germany primarily for her role as the unconventional neighbor Raquel Ochmonek in the cult series “Alf” in the 80s. In the comedy series “Seinfeld” she also embodied the caring mother of comedian and main character Jerry Seinfeld (67).

Sheridan began her career as a nightclub dancer in the 1950s. In 1951 she met the then unknown James Dean (1931-1955) and started a love affair with him. In 2000 she wrote about it the book “Dizzy & Jimmy: My Life With James Dean: A Love Story”.
