Hundreds of employees work here for great success. “They are the heroes of our journey, it takes a lot of people to complete the puzzle,” says Motorsport Director Pit Beirer. “We have a cool mix. Lots of Austrians, but also international employees.” Settling with husband and dadLike Peter Bergvall. They work hard in Munderfing and develop a motorcycle that they produce themselves. A bike that is internationally successful and contains a lot of Austria. “But we can’t allow ourselves a break,” warns Beirer. “If you just sit still for a moment, the others will have overtaken you again.” An accolade The fact that KTM has developed into a top brand (since entering MotoGP 2017) was recently ennobled by six-time world champion Marc Márquez, who believes that the Austrians will soon be the best racing team in the MotoGP circus. “A compliment like that from his mouth is like an accolade. But now we have to act as well,” says Beirer, who loves Spielberg. “For us, the Austrian Grand Prix is a public holiday.” That’s another reason why people at the Red Bull Ring really want to finish on the podium.
