Lockheed Martin: contract worth nearly $4 billion for C2BMC

(CercleFinance.com) – The American Missile Defense Agency has signed a contract with Lockheed Martin for a maximum amount of $4,099,900,000.

This contract will accelerate innovation and continue to lead the development of the Command and Control, Combat Management and Communications (C2BMC) system.

‘As part of the new C2BMC-Next perimeter, the system will be upgraded with the latest 21st century security technology for faster, multi-domain coordinated responses to emerging threats,’ the group says.

‘With C2BMC’s already well-established reliable lines of communication – operating 24/7, 365 days a year in over 30 locations around the world – the ability to securely collaborate with other countries , in several domains, from any location and in near real time, will be a game changer for the defense industry. ‘ said Erika Marshall, vice president of Lockheed Martin C4ISR.
