Logitech: an ultra-light mouse, a compact keyboard and an old helmet for Barbie fans

Logitech is making its comeback, and it’s doing it in color! The Swiss manufacturer has today unveiled two new peripherals for gamers, namely a mouse and a keyboard, which are available in three different colors. And its latest high-end helmet is also entitled to the same treatment.

But first, let’s get back to what’s new. Logitech present the Pro X Superlight 2 mouse, which retains the same very understated design of the first model, but under the hood hides a bunch of new components that make the mouse even better for gamers looking for precision and reliability. There Pro X Superlight 2 get on board like this of the switches hybrids Lightforce optical-mechanical one sensor HERO 2 32,000 DPI and 500 IPS, a USB-C port, a battery with 95 hour battery lifecompatibility power play, PTFE pads, a refresh rate of 25 KHz, and still a featherweight 60 grams. In addition to this mouse, Logitech also present the Pro X TKL Lightspeed keyboard, again tailored for e-sports and LAN with a format Tenkeyless more compact. But we find all the important features, with programmable keys, lighting RGB Lightsyncmedia shortcuts and volume wheelwithout forgetting the wireless technology Lightspeed, but the keyboard can also connect via Bluetooth (or via USB with the included cable). In the Pro X TKL Lightspeed, Logitech has taken some PBT dual-shot keycaps to reveal the lighting, and players can opt for touch switches (GX Brown), linear (GX Red) Or clicky (GX Blue).

Logitech also updates its software G-Hub on pc, to accompany these new products. Users can now experience a new interface to customize sensitivity and DPI, with separate X and Y axes. The sensor HERO 2 can also copy the settings of another mouse to regain the feeling you had with your previous device, and keys F parameters are appearing for ever more shortcuts. Finally, the Swiss manufacturer communicates on the sustainable design of its products, the series Pro is made with post-consumer recycled plastic, while the paper packaging comes from FSC-certified forests, all products from Logitech are carbon neutral.

Coming back to peripherals, the Pro X Superlight 2 mouse is sold for €169, the Pro X TKL Lightspeed keyboard costs €229, and they are already available in black, white or pink, three colors that should delight everyone. And the recent Pro X2 Lightspeed (has €269.99 on Amazon and compatible with a lot of devices) is also available in pink, it was only in black or white for the moment. The Swiss manufacturer nevertheless told us that there was no connection with the hype current surrounding Barbie.
