Logitech does not forget Mac with dedicated accessories, including a mini mechanical keyboard

Logitech has just unveiled variations of some of its products to lure Mac users into its nets.

It is about mice and especially keyboards, including a mechanical one.

Logitech keyboards optimized for Mac

Most of the accessories offered by Logitech are compatible with the main operating systems, starting with Windows and macOS. But the majority are optimized for the former. Four variations are now entering the court, this time thinking of Apple’s OS first. So here come two keyboards and two mice.

First of all, the Logitech MX Mechanical Mini for Mac (159.99 euros) is a minimalist backlit keyboard with mechanical switches that incorporates the main features of the Windows version. Logitech therefore promises discreet tactile feedback and a high level of performance for this product, which can connect via Bluetooth to three Apple products simultaneously (macOS, iOS, iPadOS). Autonomy varies between 15 days and 10 months depending on the level of backlighting, and recharging is done via USB-C. This keyboard, which of course offers a key layout designed for macOS, is available in light gray or dark gray.


The K380 for Mac also offers controls optimized for the Apple OS (no Windows or Alt keys, but opt ​​and cmd keys) and connectivity to three Bluetooth devices. Offered at 49.99 euros, this small Bluetooth keyboard with round and flat keys is available in white, pink and a new light blue color. Logitech promises two years of battery life with two AAA batteries.

Mice of very limited interest

Finally, Logitech is launching versions of its Lift and Mx Master 3S mice. The first, vertical ergonomic invoiced 79.99 euros, is only available in white and does not seem to display any real differences compared to the Windows version. It still runs on battery power.

Same thing for the second mouse, still sold for 129.99 euros, but simply with a color space gray unique. This Mac version also loses its Logi Bolt USB dongle.

We therefore wonder the real interest of these versions when the originals for Windows, Mac and Linux seem more complete.
