Loire Tribunal: he robbed businesses aboard an orange-red 206

On January 25, 2020 in the morning, a pastry chef from Saint-Etienne discovered the door of his business forced open. Inside the lockers were visited and the cash box stolen with nearly 2,500 euros.

The president of the Saint-Etienne court, who was judging this case on Friday, said: “On arriving, the pastry chef noticed an orange-red 206 Peugeot parked askew in the street. Cameras will reveal that two men exiting this vehicle at 2:08 a.m. and leaving at 2:39 a.m. entered the store. The police will be able with other cameras of the city, to raise the registration of the car which will lead them to its owner, you sir”, challenges the president to the address of the defendant.

A second offense dated January 26, this time an attempted robbery in a pizzeria in Roche-la-Molière is reported. With once again, the presence of this orange-red 206. A not very discreet color for this type of activity!

The defendant, a young man of 21, imprisoned for other facts, briefly explains: “I regret what I did. I was drunk, I did it on a whim”.

The prosecutor requires 16 months in prison with a warrant of committal, at the hearing. His defender deplores “the disproportionate requisitions in the face of the file. I request a probationary reprieve on the whole of the sentence, a sentence that can bring it to the after”. He will be half heard.

The court finally sentences Fatih Ongul to 12 months in prison, 6 of which are accompanied by a probationary suspension of two years with care and work obligations and issues a warrant of committal.

We mention the names of people sentenced from six months in prison or eighteen months suspended.
