LoL: A new kid at Atletec in Div 2

Currently, the ranking is very tight in Div 2 and we do not yet know who will succeed in validating his ticket for the Summer Split playoffs. Only Izi Dream goes on success after success and is guaranteed to finish in the top 2 of the regular season, significant of a place for the upper-bracket.

But behind the Aix structure, the battle is raging. Apart from beGenius, which is mathematically out of the running, everyone can still hope. Recall that the summer is of paramount importance, given that it offers more championship points than the spring. The two teams with the most points qualify for the promotion tournament and will have a golden opportunity to join the LFL. Among the ambitious contenders are Atlétec. The team changed its roster in the off-season and is still looking for the right formula. A new player landed in the middle of the segment and yesterday he signed his first victory in his new colors.

A very experienced new support

Ateltec’s new support is Robbe”Anthrax” Dobbeleers. The latter may not tell you much, but when you look at his CV, you are forced to recognize his value by finding several notable successes there. The Belgian has already played in ERL 1 like the LVP (Spanish league) and he played the EUM twice (PSV Esports and ESG). He was also spotted in the Turkish league with Beşiktaş Esports. At 25, he has traveled quite a bit and his experience should prove invaluable in the race for the playoffs. Among his former partners in the botlane, we will also note several names that should speak to the most informed fans of the scene: Azsa (today at Solary in LFL), the Turkish legend Holyphoenix or xMatty (BDS-Team). He knows the high level requirements and Atletec can rub their hands to have got their hands on a talent of his caliber.

Afterwards, you still have to keep a little critical spirit and the former holder of the post, Jakub “kubYD” Grobelny, had a somewhat similar profile. Experienced and endowed with a well-filled CV, he did not, however, give complete satisfaction to the team leaders. Despite positive results (7 wins for 6 losses) at the time of when he left, he was put aside and asked to find a new home.

A superweek that continues for Atletec

This week, we have the right to a superweek in Div 2. With its new support, Atlétec has so far recorded a defeat (against MCES) and a victory (against TPAA). Today’s match against PCS Taran will therefore be decisive in establishing an initial assessment. The Éclairs were stopped in their winning streak by JobLife yesterday and they will surely be keen to bounce back. The clash promises to be terrible, especially since both teams are ambitious after scoring points in the Spring Split.

Anthrax will also very much want to do well. His first match was nondescript with Lulu (1/3/6) but the Belgian was much more convincing with Nautilus (0/1/12) by putting hook on hook. Useful in lane as in teamfight, it is now necessary to confirm.

div2-lfl

League of Legends Div 2 has new surprises in store for us week after week. With only 5 games left in the regular season, BK ROG has decided to induct a new jungler! He is far from unknown, but we did not expect to see him land.
