The end of MAD Lions Madrid in League of Legends Super League was a real drama. The project was ambitious, and the team had to at least play the playoffs, or even the EU Masters. A problem in BO5?
These two defeats prolong the curse of the organization in 2022, since the LEC and ERL team won none of the four Best of Five played by the structure. If the LEC team still had good results in BO1 during the Summer Split, the Lions seem to have a concern for preparation for the cleaver matches.
Since the establishment of the club, the lions have always been one of the teams to follow, not only at national level, being the only Spanish structure to have never lifted the EU Masters trophy, but also as an LEC team. After this tweet, messages of support were sent to the team, and several of their competitors in the Superligua such as Bisons and Movistar Riders, sent them messages of encouragement after this hard setback for the organization.
According Yeste the situation at MAD can be explained by several factors:
