LoL: The incredible recovery of the eye of the Herald thanks to a Hextech portal

League of Legends Season 12 saw a new type of Dragon appear in the Rift, the Hextech. The soul of it causes portals to appear on the map allowing players to teleport from place to place and sometimes, and using them sometimes results in some very stylish moves.
Like every season, new things have arrived in League of Legends. The most important was undoubtedly the appearance of two new types of dragon: the techno-chemical and the Hextech. If the first was finally deactivated after multiple unsuccessful balancing attempts, the second is – meanwhile – still present in the Summoner’s Rift.
Effective recovery
Hextech Dragon Soul spawns different portals on the map, portals that allow you to travel long distances almost instantly. They are very useful and allow teams to develop new strategies. You can now more easily invest the enemy base and escape without having to see the fire of the turrets – or even try to surprise the enemies in their jungle. The possibilities offered by this new mechanic are numerous and it is pleasant to see players innovate around it.
And this is exactly what our player of the day did who shared his clip on Reddit.
The player played his shot very well here. While playing in the jungle with Shyvana, he decided to grab the Herald with his Caitlyn. If the two players managed to kill the objective, the opposing team decided to contest the capture of the eye in particular thanks to the ultimate devastator of Renata Glasc, Hostile takeover. If the ADC didn’t last long, our Shyvana managed to extricate herself from the Herald’s lair thanks to her ultimate to reposition herself at the level of the Hextech portal located just behind said lair. She therefore intelligently decided to borrow it to recover the eye in peace to find herself safely on the side of her blue Sentinel.
A well-thought-out recovery that in the end only cost poor Caitlyn the skin, who fell on the field of honor.
