LoL: Valiance is back, the former team of the first woman in ERL 1!

We are not going to lie to each other and enter the LEC and the LFLwe don’t really have the time to carefully follow the results of others ERL (European regional leagues). Strictly speaking, we look from time to time in Spain where the KOI UFO is making its way, but if we are told about the EBL (the Balkan league), we will have very little to tell you.

We were however briefly interested in this little league at the beginning of the year because it had written history by recruiting the first woman in ERL 1: the Swedish Maya “Caltys” Henckel. His recruitment had triggered a wave of enthusiasm and reactions, especially among those who fight daily for greater diversity in esports and better equal opportunities between men and women. Unfortunately, his fate was sad since she could only play 3 games before being benched. At the time, the media had not been kind to the team Valiance, described as a buzz structure. But with hindsight, some could perhaps reconsider their judgment… Without Caltys, replaced by a player, Valiance chained the victories. The title is close and the qualification for the next EUM is already in the bag!

Caltys and Valiance, a missed story

Valiance kicked off the start of the year with Caltys, who unfortunately didn’t have time to speak. In 3 games, she posted bleak statistics with 1 from KDA and 346.1 damage per minute. Replaced after about twenty days by Paladin, the latter led his team to first place in the EBL regular season (qualifier for the EUM). Above all, he posted much stronger statistics: 10 wins for 1 loss, 7.8 of KDA and over 535 damage per minute. So we can’t really blame Valiance for making this change during the season. In terms of results, the shock has taken place and Paladin seems to have integrated much better into the Croatian team’s project.

Of course, that’s not to say Caltys didn’t have the level. Our expertise does not allow us to judge and we imagine that the team did not succeed in finding the right formula to succeed with the player. We hope to see the Swedish ADC again very soon in an ERL so that it can definitely turn the page. The story could have been beautiful, but the story failed.

The top 6 is locked in LEC! The League of Legends season is far from over, but several teams will be able to take a little vacation. Among vacationers there are a few surprises. The league shared player predictions before the start of Spring and there were quite a few errors.
