In an Instagram question and answer session, Lola Weippert revealed that she broke up with professional surfer Eric Plancon a long time ago.
Lola Weippert (27) is single again. The RTL presenter gave the separation from professional surfer Eric Plancon in a question and answer session on her Instagram account known.
Couples therapy couldn’t save the relationship
“Since this question blows up my inbox: No, I broke up some time ago. I don’t want to say anything more about it, please respect that,” she revealed in a story. The couple met in South Africa in early 2022. In June 2022, the “Temptation Island” presenter first introduced her boyfriend to Instagram with a kissing photo. On January 23, 2023, Lola Weippert posted a series of pictures for the first anniversary and wrote that it was the “most intense year”. But apparently there were already tensions. “We have different views on certain things,” she said in an RTL interview. So they would do couples therapy. Because they come from “very different cultures and from different countries”, there were often problems of understanding. However, the professional help obviously could not prevent the separation.
Lola Weippert dreams of a down-to-earth man
She already has concrete ideas for her next partner. “I exclude celebrities per se,” she said in another Instagram story. Although she has “dated one or the other celebrity”, they are often narcissistic and would tell too much about themselves. She prefers it when a man asks her questions too. “For me, people who are not in the public eye often have better inner values. I find down-to-earth people very appealing.” You don’t see yourself as a celebrity. “I’m ‘just’ a presenter, I own a farm and my favorite animals are cows.”
Before she met Eric Plancon, Lola Weippert was in a relationship with her boyfriend Florian from 2019 to 2021. In the spring of 2023, she took a break from social media and completed a yoga teacher training course.
