Last month, US health officials shortened the isolation period for people who were COVID-19 positive but asymptomatic to five days. The previous recommendation was for ten days.
“Of course I’m still in the hands of scientists on this matter. It would certainly help ease tensions over schools, over essential labor and others,” Nadhim Zahawi told Sky News in response. a question on the reduction of the isolation period to 5 days, compared to the current seven days.
