Like his wife Lori Loughlin, designer Mossimo Giannulli is now serving his prison sentence of several months for the university bribery scandal.
Around three weeks after the "Full House" actress Lori Loughlin (56) began her two-month prison sentence, her husband Mossimo Giannulli (57) is now behind bars. He went to a California prison last Thursday (November 19), reports "NBC News" among others. In contrast to his wife, Giannulli does not have to stay there for two but five months.
Accordingly, there should be around 435 kilometers between the two facilities in which the couple are currently located. Together with Loughlin, the designer had admitted in May of this year that they had paid a bribe of US $ 500,000 to give their daughters advantages at the University of Southern California. In addition to jail, Loughlin was fined $ 150,000 and 150 hours of community service in August that year, compared with her husband's $ 250,000 and 250 hours.

In the university scandal last year it was revealed that in addition to Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, other wealthy parents had paid bribes. The same goes for "Desperate Housewives" actress Felicity Huffman (57), who only went to prison for eleven days because of a much lower bribe.
She had already started her detention, which was originally intended for 14 days, in October 2019, and she had already done the social hours and paid the fine. Since October 25, 2020, her one-year suspended sentence has also expired, reported the US website "TMZ" at the time.
