She spoke openly in the podcast InPower by Louise Aubery on Tuesday January 2, recalling that she and her companion had had to choose a PMA to give birth. “It was horribleI had hormone shots, I think I overdosed so it was a roller coaster. I had nausea from morning until evening“she remembered.
The interpreter of Your best friend recalled immediately that she had suffered a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) to put an end to the pain that she could no longer bear, the consequences of endometriosis. She will therefore not be able to give birth a second time, while her first child, a girl named Nina, blew out its three candles in August. Lorie gave details of her thoughts on the subject with the man who has shared her life for five years now: Yann Dernaucourt. “My partner told me it was no longer possibleso we talked for a long time about whether we wanted another child.”she said, before explaining how they came to their decision.

Lorie recalled that “Yann already had a little boy who is 12 years old”. “So at home we have a boy and a girl, that’s already good”she declared immediately, before adding: “We still have jobs where we move a little in all directions. And I couldn’t see myself leaving with hormone injections, a new IVF, honestly it’s exhausting“. It is therefore together that they have “made the decision” of the operation. In complete transparency, the singer, now 41 years old, explained that it was a difficult choice, because the hysterectomy is “irreversible”. “I was still crying on the operating table“, she was willing to admit. However, the artist also recalled that it was the “the only way” to heal, even if it means no longer being able to have children.
