A new region and new servers for Lost Ark
Under these circumstances, Amazon Games Studios, which distributes the game in the West, has just announced a battle plan on February 13: the launch of a new “region” in Europe to welcome players. This region should include new servers to absorb all those who hope to explore the world of Arkésia.

Currently, Lost Ark in the West is divided into four regions: North America (West Zone), North America (East Zone), South America, and Europe (called Central Zone). For the European region, there are currently 19 game servers, which are still indicated as full. At launch, there were only 9, which had to be reinforced with 10 more.
The publisher believes that “ the new region will be ideal for players who have not yet created their character or are not committed to staying on their current server “. But he warns that by the time the new region is in place—a matter of days, presumably—there will likely still be lengthy wait times before you can connect.
However, there remains one regret: Amazon Games Studios does not seem able to allow a free transfer of characters from one server to another, which would have the advantage of allowing overcrowded servers to offload onto others. There doesn’t seem to be any plans to launch servers per language either — which would avoid the rat race on public chat channels.
