To follow up on the many saturated servers, making Lost Ark unplayable for some, Amazon Games has chosen to launch a new region in Europe, the Western Europe region. This arrives on February 17, at 6 p.m. French time.
The studio states that this region arrives to relieve the Central Europe region, to limit queues, especially during peak periods, when waiting is counted in hours. So, although the queues will normally be smaller, this will not remove them. However, those wishing to go to one of the servers in this new region should suffer little or no from these queues.
In an effort to encourage players to take the big trip to this new region, Amazon Games clarifies that you will retain access to your Royal Crystals and Crystal Aura, but that items purchased from the store or collected via a pack cannot be transferred. As for daily bonuses, all players creating a character in the new region will receive the equivalent of 10 days of bonuses, while additional daily bonuses will be offered.
Regarding Western Europe region in itself, it will include a total of eight servers (total which could be increased, if necessary):
- Rethramis
- Tortoyk
- Moonkeep
- Stonehearth
- Shadespire
- Tragon
- petrania
- punka
So if you haven’t progressed too far in Lost Ark yet, or are just waiting for a stream of smaller players, this new region is for you. You will be able to access it, normally without worry, from this Thursday, February 17, at 6 p.m. French time.
