At ease in front of and behind the cameras, Louis Garrel will present his new – and fourth – film, the innocent, to the public from October 12, 2022. This family story, the young prodigy of the seventh French art has already broadcast it during the last edition of the Cannes Film Festival and had collected, at the end of the session, only applause. But obviously, Monsieur does not have just one project in mind. He also reunited with his former girlfriend, Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, playing for her in The Almond Trees, a feature film which will be released on November 16. The year 2022 will therefore end, gradually, with the face of Louis Garrel.
It creates stimulating tension
This isn’t the first time the two exes have worked together. While they had been separated since 2012, Louis Garrel had played in A castle in Italy the next year. They both still take care of Oumy, the daughter they adopted together in 2009. As for this new opportunity to work together, the actor welcomed it with open arms. “I was happy to find Valerie Bruni Tedeschi as director, especially since she does not act in her film, which made her even more freehe explains in the pages of Miss Figaro.
