“Love is in the meadow” back on M6: why three candidates left the show

It’s the great return of Love is in the meadow this Monday evening on M6 with an 18th season full of surprises… As every year, the farmers will show their daily life on the farm to two suitors. So far so good… Alas, the reality show presented by Karine Le Marchand was not really shot in ideal conditions because of several big twists: three candidates, David, Charles and Baptiste indeed left the program in full season. An unprecedented situation which particularly annoyed Karine Le Marchand.

“They took someone’s place for nothing”

“I’m very upset, because we have a limited number of places each year. We commit resources, time, we come to visit them to help them find love and somewhere, they have taken someone’s place. one for nothing“, had declared the star of the PAF last July during a press conference. Baptiste, a 30-year-old sheep farmer, decided to give up his adventure in Love is in the meadow just before speed-dating. After the release of his portrait at the start of the year, the farmer was recontacted by his ex, with whom he reconnected… “Baptiste took the place of someone else. Although we are happy that he has found love, he will no longer appear on the show. It’s their private life now”, reacted the producer of the show in the columns of the Parisian.

David meanwhile withdrew, because the letters he received do not “correspond” to his “expectations”, he explained in the columns of the Parisian. “They were all forwarded to me, I read them anyway. But they were sent by women who had big age gaps with me, often 20 years older or younger, and that bothers me,” said he explained on a daily basis. Charles, a suckler cow breeder, also preferred to leave Love is in the meadow, because no contender wrote to her… “We had not planned to have three defections, but we have confidence in ourselves and in our season. Of course, we are disappointed, but we are still adapting”, concluded the producer of the program in The Parisian. Viewers will be able to form their own opinion this evening with the much-awaited opening of the mail!
