No winning couple floats in love

“Love Island” starts its fifth season on August 30th. Is the winning couple of the spring season and their predecessors still together?
“Love Island” starts its sixth season on August 30th. Presenter Sylvie Meis (43) will be there for the first time. In the show, participating singles have four weeks to find their dream partner and to receive 50,000 euros as a winning couple. Did the couples have a happy ending in terms of love?
Elena Miras and Jan Sokolowsky
The first season “Love Island” was broadcast from September to October 2017. In the end, the race for the audience’s favor was made by Elena Miras (29) from Zurich and Jan Sokolowsky (32) from Cologne. The two separated just three days after the final. Mike Heiter (29) and Chethrin Schulze (28), they finished third, also split shortly after the show. Then it became known that Miras and Heiter are in a relationship. The relationship lasted until September 2020. The former couple have a daughter who was born in August 2018. Both reality show participants are now happily taken again, Heiter can currently be seen with girlfriend Laura Morante (30) in “Battle of Reality Stars”. Sokolowsky, however, unsuccessfully participated in the nude dating show “Adam sucht Eva” in 2018, nothing is known about his current relationship status.
Tracy Candela and Marcellino “Lino” Kremers
Tracy Candela and Marcellino Kremers were considered the dream couple of the second “Love Island” season. Just a few days after the final, the personal trainer and the Koblenz native, who was a law student at the time, separated again in October 2018. While Tracy Candela was quiet, Kremers tried his luck on TV dating again with “Match! Celebrities on Dating Course” and has since concentrated on his TV jobs: Kremers was most recently in the RTL two trash show “Battle of Reality Stars” and can be seen at “Sat.1 Promiboxen”. There he also announced his new love affair: He has been in a relationship with Dijana Cvijetic (27) since 2020. The couple met at “Kampf der Realitystars”. Cvijetic also took part in “Love Island”, but one year after Kremers.
Vivien Michalla and Sidney Wolf
In the third season, Sidney Wolf and Vivien Michalla convinced as a couple – but it remained a short TV romance. Wolf announced the separation in his Instagram story. He had previously announced the sad news via livestream. “The time at ‘Love Island’ was wonderful and you developed feelings for each other there, which have evaporated more and more in everyday life,” he said, explaining the end of love. “It didn’t feel real and good to me anymore and that’s why I broke up with Vivi yesterday,” said the “Love Island” winner. In June 2020, Wolf confirmed that he was taken again. Michalla presented a photo with her new partner on Instagram at the turn of the year 2021. For the runner-up Samira Berkane (23) and Yasin Cilingir (30), things are going all the better, the two became parents for the first time in December 2020 and got married in early February 2021. The two will move to the “Summer House of the Stars” in 2021.
Melina Hoch and Tim Kühnel
Their love on TV was an up and down: Ultimately, Melina Hoch (24) and Tim Kühnel (24) won the fourth season of the dome format, which they left as a couple at the end of September 2020. In December of the same year, the two of them tearfully announced their breakup in an Instagram video. “There were just a few differences that we haven’t discovered in the last few weeks, but that just got a little stronger that we didn’t expect at the beginning. That’s why we decided that we will split up,” said Kühnel in this. Both continue to gain TV experience: Tim Kühnel had a brief appearance on “Kampf der Realitystars”, Melina Hoch is currently looking for her perfect match on “Are You The One – Reality Stars in Love”. For a long time, a couple from the fourth “Love Island” season seemed to have more luck in love in second place: Anna Iffländer and Marc Zimmermann were considered the season’s dream couple. After they were broadcast, they shared snapshots in love on Instagram, Zimmermann recently announced the breakup.
Bianca Balintffy and Paco Herb
The vibe between Paco Herb and the pretty brunette Bianca Balintffy was right in the first “Love Island” spring season from the first minute. In the end, at the end of March 2021, they even emerged as a winning couple. However, it should not be with the great love, Paco recently confirmed his single status in an Instagram story. But things are going all the better for final couple Greta Engelfried and Fynn Lukas Kunz. The two are still a couple today and post a couple photo on Instagram.
