No Angels singer Lucy Diakovska spoke completely openly about her coming out as a teenager in the RTL jungle camp.
No Angels singer Lucy Diakovska (47) appeared on “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” on Saturday evening. (also on RTL+) about her homosexuality and talked about her coming out. She revealed to her camp roommate David Odonkor (39), who had never known anything about it, that she had always felt attracted to women. “I would say that I had this feeling and feeling when I was 15 and it felt completely normal to me,” she said openly in the jungle camp.

She went on to report that she told her mother about it “a little later – by fax in 1999.” She sent her mother a five to six-page letter to Bulgaria, with the concluding lines: “If you think that I can still be your daughter, then please call me.” She waited three days for that same call, the Bulgarian singer recalled with a laugh.
At the time, she “expected the worst,” and she couldn’t imagine how her mother would take it. She only told her father about her homosexuality three years later. “Are you stupid for telling your mother and not me,” he said at the time. However, both would have received Lucy’s coming out well. “And that’s how I grew up, so that my sexuality is taken for granted by those around me.”
No permanent partner: “It’s complicated”
The singer currently doesn’t have a permanent partner, as she said in one of the first episodes of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” had explained. “I’ve met someone, but it’s complicated,” she explained to Cora Schumacher (47) when she asked.

On Saturday evening, the first celebrity of the season was officially announced on “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” adopted. After Schumacher’s voluntary exit, designer Sarah Kern (56) has now been hit. She was eliminated in eleventh place.
