What made you want to apply for the Maison de la danse?
Tiago Guedes: “With Porto, we are partners of the Maison de la Danse within the framework of the European pole of creation. Since 2016, we have built a few projects together. In Porto, when I was appointed in 2014, there was everything to do, bring together two municipal theaters in a single institution,…. I saw that it was time to dare, to project myself into a city where dance is at the center, knowing that such opportunities do not arise every day. I had to get started, it was obvious to apply for this enormous challenge”.
