Madonna: singer has to cancel further concerts in London

Madonna (61) has to cancel further shows of her "Madame X" tour on the advice of her doctors. That announced the 61-year-old on Instagram. There she wrote to her fans: "As you all know, I had several injuries and had to cancel shows to take time to recover." Now she will cancel two more concerts, on February 4th and 11th at the Palladium in London. Three appearances in a row are "too much for my body and my doctors actually insist that I take a day off after each show, but I think I can do it if I do two shows in a row, then I rest!"

The singer also wrote about the tour that it was "a miracle that I got this far". It has a lot to do with the fact that she does six hours of rehabilitation training every day: "Three hours before and three hours after the show with several therapies." Madonna said that she had switched to flat shoes, various parts of the show were also changed: "That helped a lot, but I still have to be careful and of course rest is the best medicine." At the end of her statement, Madonna apologized to her fans.

Many concerts canceled

Madonna had planned 14 appearances in London. Before that, she had to cancel ten concerts on her tour. The 61-year-old allegedly is struggling with a hip and knee injury. Shows in Paris are planned for February and March.
