How did the stars keep fit during the lockdown phases? Magdalena Brzeska and Rosanna Davison now explained their secret.

Prominent training guests at the opening of the Sports Club Eppendorf: Both the former professional gymnast Magdalena Brzeska (43) and the model and Chris de Burgh daughter Rosanna Davison (37) came to the new Hamburg gym on Thursday (9 September), to be physically active for a good cause. In the end, a donation campaign even raised 5,000 euros for the Hamburger Tafel, whose representatives were “incredibly happy about the mega active day”.

Alexander Sosa, managing director of the Sports Club fitness studio chain, also spoke of a “great day”: “It is a special pleasure that 5,000 euros have been raised for the non-profit organization and that we have been able to support it a little.” But in addition to the support for the Hamburger Tafel, the sporting activities of Brzeska and Davison were also the focus of the event. In an interview with the news agency spot on news, the two revealed their very personal fitness secret on the sidelines of the event, which they also brought about the lockdown phases with closed studios.

Sports program even during the lockdown phases

“I love fitness and have been exercising from home for the past year and a half,” said Davison. In addition, she is out and about a lot with her children and so keeps herself fit. In general, her life changed fundamentally in the pandemic due to the birth of her twins. For her family this was sometimes even an advantage, as her husband Wesley Quirke spent a lot of time at home. That was “very nice” because he had a lot of time for the children.

In general, however, she now feels her life as a mom is “very turbulent”: “The boys have been ten months now and today I’m separated from my three children for the first time.” The day before leaving for Hamburg, she was very excited to see whether everything would work out at home. She has already recovered “very well” from pregnancy and childbirth, only one thing troubles her: “I’m actually always tired and need a lot of coffee.”

After giving birth in November of last year, Davison was only slowly starting to exercise again: “I was very careful.” But she was always “running up and down stairs” for the children anyway, and so after a month she already fit into the clothes from before the pregnancy and felt good again: “I was very lucky there, it was, too always a different situation for everyone. ” For every woman it is a big change, also for the body: “You have to be patient if you don’t immediately have the figure from before.”

This is what happened to Brzeska after her final bankruptcy in “Die Alm”

Magdalena Brzeska even increased her athletic workload during the lockdown phases. The reason: sports activities on the net. “I train children’s groups with rhythmic gymnastics and I continued to do that during the pandemic – just stop online and you need more patience with every training session and, above all, I have to do every movement much more often to pick up all the children so that it can be done too everyone saw correctly, “declared the 26-time German champion.

The Polish-born woman has already coped with her final defeat in the ProSieben show “Die Alm” at the end of July against Yoncé Banks (28): “I take it sportily.” She had a great time and can now imagine “taking a vacation on the Alm” herself. Before that, she could not have imagined it. The best thing she found was the fact that she didn’t have a cell phone with her and therefore “just had my peace and quiet”.

Your television career does not necessarily end there. Because other TV formats would also appeal to them. Her big dream has always been to take part in “Let’s Dance”, according to Brzeska. But she has already done that; In 2012 she was even able to win the fifth season of the RTL dance show. “I would have loved ‘Eternal Heroes’, which unfortunately doesn’t exist anymore and of course it would be funny to take part in ‘The Masked Singer’, because I just can’t sing …”
