[MAJ] Star Ocean: The Divine Force gets ten minutes of Tokyo Game Show gameplay and a demo

Given that Square-Enix has a fairly busy release schedule for this end of the year, it has a big presence at the Tokyo Game Show with lots of games to show us. Star Ocean: The Divine Force is naturally entitled to special attention, since this is a big series and a sixth episode eagerly awaited by fans. The publisher has now finished presenting us with the entire cast of playable characters, and is now revealing ten minutes of gameplay at Famitsu.

Update: Square Enix has announced that a demo of the game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series on September 20 with two hours of content, while releasing a new trailer that you will find at the end of this article.

An overview for this sixth opus

Everything is in Japanese so difficult to understand by those who do not speak the language, but this long presentation video allows us to better see the game in action.

We have a better overview of exploration, with maps that are a little more open than in previous games, and that we can browse while flying. We also see some fights to give us an idea of the dynamism of the latter, without forgetting a more calm part where we can chat with our companions and eat good meals, as in all JRPGs of recent years.

Star Ocean The Divine Force will be released on October 27 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. The game is already available for pre-order.
