Mamma Mia 3: producer talks about possible third part

"Mamma Mia!" Fans, watch out, the third part of the successful ABBA musical adaptation is planned. Because Judy Craymer (62), who produced the original stage musical as well as the film version in 2008 and the sequel in 2018, now explained to "Mail Online" that a third film is apparently in the works.

However, she also tells in the interview that she had already worked on the third part before the corona pandemic broke out. That had clouded her thoughts. "I think there will be another film someday, because there should be a trilogy. I know that Universal wants me to do it," but then it becomes pretty specific.

In terms of content, Craymer left everything open. Only musically did she reveal that she would like to use some of the new songs that the Swedish band ABBA wrote and will apparently be presenting this year.
