Man on the run who confessed to his wife’s murder on YouTube, committed suicide

An American wanted for more than 9 months for the murder of his wife committed suicide in Florida.

He had been wanted by the police for more than nine months. Authorities eventually found the fugitive, but it was too late. 48-year-old Trent Paschal committed suicide in Florida, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said. Officers were able to trace him back after receiving testimony that the man was at a campsite in Ocala, about 100 miles from Orlando. When emergency services arrived, they asked the fugitive to get out of the van he was living in but heard a gunshot. When they opened the door, they found the man, dead.

“I told him not to play with me”

Trent Paschal allegedly shot his wife on October 21, 2020. That day, he reportedly waited for Savannah Paschal in their bedroom bathroom and shot her. He was later arrested and charged but released after paying his $ 550,000 bail. Following his release, he fled and had remained untraceable ever since. When he fled, the husband cut off the electronic bracelet that allowed the police to monitor him. Then he allegedly went to a Houston auto dealership and took a black Chevy Tahoe for a test drive. He then allegedly pointed a knife at the salesperson, forcing him out of the car they were both in. “He pulled out a knife and told me to get out of the car,” the salesperson told KTRK. “I had a weird feeling about this guy, like something was wrong, but I didn’t think he was going to steal a car.”

To add to the sordidness of this story, the man during his run, posted a video on YouTube, filmed before the murder of his wife. “I told him not to play with me, not to play with my emotions,” he is said to have said in the images. Then, after the murder, this time he would have apologized to his children, in another video. “We are constantly on our guard. We are monitoring everything. It’s very anxiety-provoking. And it was a very difficult year, “the victim’s father, Michael Kinchen, commented to KTRK.
