The Iowa incident happened outside of Cornerstone Church, a fundamentalist Christian church east of the city of Ames, while a service was being held inside, said Nicholas Lennie, chief deputy chief of the Story County Police Department.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found all three people dead, Lennie said. He could not provide any information about the identities or the relationship between the three people.
