Mariah Carey: That's why her ex-fiancé is not mentioned in her biography

They were together for almost two years, yet Mariah Carey's relationship with her ex-fiancé James Packer was never "physical".

Mariah Carey's (50, "Hero") autobiography "The Meaning of Mariah Carey" will be published this week. And to advertise it, the pop diva has not minced words in interviews for a long time. Now, in a long conversation with "The Guardian", she revealed that she and her ex-fiancé James Packer (53) never had sex in their relationship.

When asked why Packer is not mentioned in the book, Carey replied: "If it was a meaningful relationship, it is mentioned. If not, it is not in it," said the singer. In response to the objection that the two were engaged, Carrey concludes: "Our relationship was not a physical one, to be honest."

Carey and the Australian media entrepreneur met in 2014 and were spotted holding hands on vacation for the first time in 2015. The engagement followed in January 2016. Less than ten months later, however, it was all over again.
