Marina Foïs knew how to build a very good career. After having been part of the famous troupe of Robins des bois, the actress has chained the successful feature films, without ever shutting himself up in a box. In an interview with Paris Match, Thursday March 4, 2021, the 51-year-old actress claims to have never been discriminated against because of her age: "If French cinema lags behind on the question of diversity, it is not on this specific subject: we have very beautiful roles as we age. I am never told about my age, and yet I am 51 years old ", she asserts.
The actress, however, affirms, with humor, to be "traumatized" by age: "I'm like all 50-year-olds who say: 'I still have 27 in my head', she confided, before explaining that she dreaded especially watching her films, a difficult exercise for an actress: "In the films, I notice the degradation: it's hard to live to see yourself three times a year with a magnifying glass on the big screen". But Marina Foïs assumes. For her, imperfections are useful in cinema, in order to convey emotions. But in the photos, it's a different story: "I am completely in control! But because a photo is a frozen image. JIt only supports wrinkles and cellulite if they have something to do with them. Otherwise, it's just ugly ".

However, there is a milestone that Marina Foïs has never crossed: plastic surgery. "You will notice, however, that I did not do any surgery on my face", she insisted before explaining: "This is neither a militant act nor to prove anything, I am not against ethically, even if it's hard for people who are filmed all the time. Because aging is a real subject. It's like the paintings that crackle in our house, it pisses off … After a while, we redo them! "
In an interview with TV-Leisure Thursday, March 4, 2021, the actress who recently revealed she was sexually abused, added that the "physical degradation" did not make her happy at all. To remedy this, Marina Foïs has luckily an unstoppable weapon, the fashion : "Being well surrounded, I have the means to overcome the difficulty by being well dressed! ".
