Marine Le Pen on Emmanuel Macron’s accusations on a Russian loan: “All of this is defamatory and is intended to smear me”

Guest of the CNEWS Morning, Marine Le Pen returned to the accusations made by Emmanuel Macron during the debate about a Russian loan from the RN.

“The reality is that it’s a lie and defamation, and it’s serious to say that when you’re President of the Republic,” she said.

Marine Le Pen stressed that the party’s loan had not been contracted with Russia but with a Czech-Russian bank, “which was not even a state bank”.

And to hammer: “All this is defamatory, all this is intended to dirty me”.

While Emmanuel Macron had estimated during the debate that she would not be free, diplomatically, with regard to Russia because of this loan, Marine le Pen assured that she had “the same positions” as the president outgoing. “When he received Mr. Poutine in Brégançon, in his vacation home, he did not receive him at the Elysée in an official setting and it was in 2019”, also pointed out the candidate.

“I have a geopolitical vision which is determined by the interest of France and the French and exclusively by the interest of France and the French,” she concluded on the subject.
