Controversial comments. This Tuesday, April 23, designer Simon Porte Jacquemus and his companion Marco Maestri, revealed the birth of their two children, born through surrogacy (GPA). “Mia and Sun. Welcome to earth, our loves. We love you so much. Our dream has come true with you”, shared the stylist on Instagram, accompanying his message with a photo of the newborns’ wrists. This joyful news was not well received by everyone. Marion Maréchal, on her X account (formerly Twitter), wrote the same day. “Where is the mother?”, wrote the head of the list of the Reconquest party! in the next European elections.
This statement sparked a wave of outrage on social media and quickly sparked reactions from many public figures, including Jarry. On X, the 46-year-old television host responded strongly to Marion Maréchal by writing: “Dear Marion Maréchal: ‘Where is the mother?’ Did you ask your grandmother this question?” alluding to the separation between Jean-Marie Le Pen and Pierrette Lalanne in the 1980s. “A family is not two opposite sexes, it is two adults who love each other and form a family!
