Mark Hamill (72) met his mother: Natalie Portman (42), 30 years his junior. The two “Star Wars” stars posed for the cameras at the Golden Globes. Hamill posted a joint Picture on his X account. “Thanks to the Golden Globes I finally met my ‘mother,'” the actor captioned the photo.

Natalie Portman portrayed Queen Padmé Amidala in the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy from 1999. Together with Anakin Skywalker, the later Darth Vader, Padmé Amidala has the twins Luke and Leia. Mark Hamill played Luke Skywalker in the original trilogy of “Star Wars” (from 1977) and in the later sequels since 2015.

Next family reunion in the “Star Wars” universe

The “Star Wars” fans are freaking out about the late family reunion at X. “It seems to have gone better than your meeting with your dad,” one follower commented. She was referring to the famous scene from “The Empire Strikes Back” in which Luke and Darth Vader fight each other – and the villain reveals himself to be Skywalker’s father.

A fan account posted a photo of the star showing him with Hayden Christensen (42). He played the role of Anakin Skywalker alongside Natalie Portman in the prequel trilogy. “So now that we’ve met the mother and father. What’s next?” asks the user on behalf of Luke Skywalker.

Another X user recalled a get-together between Natalie Portman and Carrie Fisher (1956-2016). The deceased portrayed Luke Skywalker’s sister, Princess Leia, in Star Wars. The fan juxtaposed the pictures of Portman meeting her onscreen son and daughter.
