In the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), US Agent will return. The best option is the “Thunderbolts” project, which has already been announced. This is a group of anti-heroes like Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and Abomination (Tim Roth).
In an interview with the US magazine Collider, Wyatt Russell was asked about his future in the MCU and whether he could imagine going completely to the evil side with US Agent.
I haven’t really thought about the character’s return and my hopes for his future. There are so many directions to go in. No matter what happens, I hope his struggle with himself continues. As long as this struggle remains in him, he can change and be treated. There are many paths we can take. I just hope that it will be an interesting path, but which path per se is not my decision.

When the “Thunderbolts” movie will start is unclear. While there is a release schedule for Marvel Phase 4, a number of projects have now been announced without a launch date, so we may have to wait for the next major conventions and fan events where more news will be announced.
