Marvel: this detail that links Ant-Man 3 and Black Panther 2 and that no one had noticed

A few days before the cinema release of “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”, a detail that links it to “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” was spotted in Ryan Coogler’s film.

Marvel at the cinema: Phase V, episode 1! Three months after the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters. With the ambition to move the MCU up a gear by notably presenting its new big bad, namely Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors).

And it is in this in-between that a detail linking the last film of Phase IV and the first of the V was spotted. Black Panther 2 being available on Disney+ in the rest of the world, this favors freeze frames in search of easter eggs. Like during this scene from CNN television news, where there is talk of an attack in Wakanda but also of Scott Lang’s tour with his book.

This therefore means that the action of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania takes place at the same time as that of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, since it is at the beginning of Peyton Reed’s film that the hero played by Paul Rudd the promotion of his memoirs, “Look Out for the Little Guy” (which can be translated as “Watch out for the little guy”), before finding himself immersed in the quantum world.

This detail, because that is what it is ultimately about, was it added in the version posted on Disney+ (and available on video from March 17 in France), or was it it already in theaters? And can we expect Ant-Man 3 to reference Black Panther and Wakanda? Answer from February 15 in theaters. Or a few months later.
