Marvel’s Midnight Suns still postponed and maybe for a long time

The next game from the creators of XCOM, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, just suffered another delay that could last. But that’s not all because there is bad news for the PS4, Xbox One and Switch versions.

Before seeing Doctor Strange, Iron Man and Captain America as well as all the other superheroes at work in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, we will have to be patient! 2K Games has postponed the release for a few more months on new generation and PC. As for the PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions, it’s worse…

Marvel’s Midnight Suns Set for Early 2023 Release

In a press release, the studio Firaxis (XCOM, Civilization VI) announces the new delay of Marvel’s Midnight Suns. An inevitable decision to ensure that we provide “the best possible fan experience”. And it therefore requires a postponement of a few months if all goes well.

Teams plan to be finished for this fiscal year, which would give a release by March 2023… on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC uniquely. The PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions will be available at a ” later date “.

We have an important update to share regarding our launch date for Marvel’s Midnight Suns. After discussion with the team, we have made the decision to push back the game’s release date to ensure we provide the best possible experience for our fans. We’ll be launching it later this fiscal year on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5, and Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch versions at a later date.

We know our fans can’t wait to play it and we’ll use this extra time to make sure we provide the best possible experience for everyone. Midnight Suns is by far the biggest game we’ve ever made and we greatly appreciate all the support players have shown over the years.

This tactical RPG in the Marvel universe was postponed last year. Hopefully it will be the right one this time!
