Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy's marriage is officially history. The divorce of the designer and the banker was approved.
Mary-Kate Olsen (34, "Full House") and Olivier Sarkozy (51) are divorced. After five years as husband and wife, their divorce was declared final on Monday (January 25th) by the New York Supreme Court. The magazine "Us Weekly" reports.
Accordingly, the ex-partners last met via Zoom on January 13 of this year to clarify the final details of the separation together with their lawyers. A judge has now signed the couple's settlement agreement. The divorce is officially over.
No happy ending
Olsen, a former actress and today's designer, and Sarkozy, the half-brother of the former French President Nicolas Sarkozy (65), had been in a relationship since 2012. Three years later, the wedding bells rang in November 2015. Olsen had submitted the divorce papers in April 2020, but the processing of her application was delayed for some time due to the corona pandemic.
