On February 5, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium met the Emir of Dubai. They ended their stay in the Middle East with a visit to the Universal Expo at the Belgian pavilion.
King Philippe, 61, and Queen Mathilde of Belgium, 49, have ended their stay in the Middle East on February 5th. Remember that Belgian royalty began the official visit of the Sultanate of Oman on February 2, 2022. The stay therefore lasted 3 days and ended in the United Arab Emirates. It was Prince Saif bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, 54, the Emir’s half-brother and Minister of the Interior who had greeted the royal couple upon their arrival in Abu Dhabi.
This Universal Exhibition 2020 was organized in 2021 – 2022 due to the pandemic. In particular, it gives the stage to all the participating countries, each of which has one day. Heads of State or representatives are invited to visit Dubai to visit their national pavilion during these days. Of course, on February 5, it was Belgium which was in the spotlight in Dubai.
