For health reasons, Matthias Reim had to cancel his concerts for September and October. Now the singer is announcing his comeback.

Matthias Reim (64) is back. A few weeks ago, the singer canceled his concerts for September and October. In addition to an inflammation of the vocal cords, Reim suffered from a “strong burnout problem”, as he reported to “Bild” at the time. Now, however, the pop star is looking forward to his stage comeback, which will take place on October 29 at the “Schlagernacht des Jahres” in the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen. “This first step back to concert normality will be awesome!”, he writes on Facebook.

In November, Reim can be seen in editions of the TV format in Berlin, Erfurt and Frankfurt, like the event organizer Semmel-Concerts also announced on Facebook. The “Damn, I love you” interpreter dedicates December to his “Matthias Reim – LIVE!” tour, which will take him through numerous cities throughout Germany. However, not all originally planned dates can still take place this year. The concerts in Mannheim, Neubrandenburg, Erfurt and Zwickau have been postponed to April 2023. Tickets remain valid.

Rhyme: “Will catch-up dates be celebrated all the more intensively”

Reim regrets that he cannot attend all concert dates this year due to health reasons. He therefore makes a promise to the fans who will have to wait for him until next year: “We will celebrate the catch-up dates even more intensely next year!”

Not only Matthias Reim had to give up his tour for the time being. His wife, singer Christin Stark (32), also canceled her club tour a few days ago. She is currently needed by her family, the young mother justified her refusal in an Instagram post. She also promised her fans that she would soon be back on stage.
