McDonald's partially reopens its restaurants despite the confinement: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

Authorized to stay open, the American fast food brand McDonald's decided to close its doors completely when the government announced the start of containment on March 17. A few days ago, this same brand announced that it was working on the implementation of a health protocol to resume part of its activity in safety. Twelve restaurants are already being tested in the west of France. There will soon be three more in Île-de-France, and a further fifteen if the experience is conclusive. The reopening of restaurants only concerns take-out and home delivery. It will therefore be impossible to consume on site.

The McDonald's spokesman said that health regulations will be reinforced to protect customers and employees, thanks to a guide validated by a scientific committee of experts in infectiology and virology. This guide provides that all team members are equipped with masks. Teamwork is reduced to avoid crossovers. Ground markings and markings help them maintain the distance of a minimum of one meter. The frequency of hand washing has been doubled and the cleaning of kitchens has been reinforced. Cash is no longer accepted. Finally, the number of delivery couriers is controlled, by limiting orders.
