(Boursier.com) — McPhy posted 2022 revenue growth of +22% to €16 million. Restated for the takeover of two old-generation stations sold in previous years (the amount of which was deducted from 1st half-year revenue), revenue would be 18.2 ME compared to 13 .1 ME in 2021, i.e. growth of +39%.

The specialist in hydrogen production and distribution equipment mainly attributes this return to growth to the materialization of the first orders within the framework of the major contracts signed during the previous years. Turnover is split between the supply of high-capacity McLyzer electrolyzers and the Piel range (68%) and the supply of stations (32%).

The group recorded growth of +53% in firm order intake, which stood at 29.4 ME, thus bringing the order book to 31.3 ME in
December 31, 2022, up +56% compared to December 31, 2021.

As of December 31, 2022, McPhy had a portfolio of signed, commissioned and/or ongoing projects representing a cumulative 45 MW and 40 stations.

Given the acceleration of development investments and the increase in teams over the second half of the year, McPhy anticipates an EBITDA of between -34 and -37 ME for the 2022 financial year. net cash position should therefore be around 135 ME, including the initial payment of 28.5 ME from Bpifrance as part of the launch of the Gigafactory.

The level of its backlog and the continued ramp-up of the hydrogen market allow McPhy to anticipate another year of sustained growth in 2023.
