McPhy signs a major contract with Eiffage Énergie Systèmes – Clemessy – 01/17/2022 at 18:09

(AOF) – McPhy has signed a contract with Eiffage Énergie Systèmes – Clemessy (agent), a subsidiary of the Eiffage Group, to equip a hydrogen production and distribution site located in Danjoutin, south of Belfort, operated by Hynamics (subsidiary hydrogen from the EDF group). Equipped with an electrolyser and a station, the site will initially be intended to allow the refueling of low-carbon hydrogen for a fleet of 7 buses operated by the RTTB (Régie des Transports du Territoire de Belfort) for the account of the SMTC (Syndicat Mixte des Transports en Commun) on the Optymo urban transport network.

Commissioning is expected in the spring of 2023.

As part of this contract, McPhy will deliver the equipment for the installation consisting of an electrolyser from the McLyzer range with a power of 1 MW which will supply a McFilling 350 charging station capable of distributing up to 800 kg /day of hydrogen at 350 bar at full load. The station will offer two Hi-Flow distribution terminals with the possibility of refueling the 7 buses in one hour.

Jean-Baptiste Lucas, CEO of McPhy, commented: “This project is a further illustration of McPhy’s desire to become an essential partner for local authorities in their transition to zero-emission mobility.”
