Big, bigger, metro! Anyone who owns an 8,182 square meter sales area – with, among other things, Salzburg’s largest fresh fish counter – can’t afford to miss out on the party theme. Around 600 guests were welcomed on Tuesday evening in Wals-Siezenheim for the new opening following the expansion of the location.
Of course there were also big names on the guest list. Like the celebrity chefs Toni Mörwald and Roland Trettl. However, there was no sign of top dog behavior among the top restaurateurs on Tuesday evening. “I can only speak for myself personally, but envy and jealousy are things that have no place in my life. We actually don’t talk much about gastronomy. There are also other nice things from everyday life that you can talk about,” says Roland Trettl. Restaurateur Andreas Döllerer also left work behind for the evening: “I haven’t seen many of the colleagues who are here for so long. This evening is like a class reunion for me.” But the party guests didn’t really miss out on the culinary delights. Delicacy stations throughout the market area tempt you to try them out and linger.
